Another Page for the Use a Kit Challenge

I did this last weekend but forgot to post it. It kind of helped that it was storming all weekend so I got a lot done. Both scrapping and house cleaning!

This is for the Willow Trader's Use a Kit Challenge. I used up all the paper in my Studio Calico add on but still have some embellishments left. I guess I will add those to my stash and pick another kit!

I hope to scrap more this weekend but it's going to be 91 degrees here on Saturday so I'm thinking baby pool here we come!

Friday Night Scrapping!

I scrapped tonight! I'm soooo happy :) It feels good to sit down and scrap after a long hard day at work.

This was for the Willow Trader's June use a kit challenge. I picked an add on from Studio Calico's February kit.

Here is my layout - Domestic Dude.

And this is the blanket I've mentioned.

I made this for my niece's birthday.

Hope everyone is having a great start to the weekend!

Discovered a new Scrapbook Challenge Blog

SCRAPFIT!

The newest challenge or "workout" is to use an "exercise machine" like a cricut or other die cut machine.

I used my new cuttlebug. I LUV my new cuttlebug :) It makes me so happy. I think my next addition will be a cricut but I can't get over the sticker shock of that machine.

Anyway, here is my layout for this challenge:

I used the February Scrapbook Kit Club kit for this layout. Unfortunately they are no longer around :( I really liked the kits too. The layout is for my niece's book which is why the journaling is not done. I leave it blank for my sister to fill in. I used my cuttlebug to cut the letters out of the pink glittery cardstock. I also used my handy dandy super duper scalloped border punch. I heard a rumor that Hobby Lobby has a great deal going on right now on punches - - that they are 50% off. I will be RUNNING there tomorrow!

So that's my post for tonight. I have a bunch more to share with you but I must put the little monster to bed.

I hope to post more new layouts this weekend and also my Wizard of Oz blanket that I finished.

Off to dreamland!

I have so much to share........

I've gotten back in the swing of things now that my world has righted itself once again. I've scrapped 3 - almost 4 layouts this week alone! I've finished 2 blankets. I've learned how to make adorable little hair clips. So many crafty things to share.

BUT my computer at home is not working. The power cord for my laptop died and we've been waiting for a replacement for 2 weeks!! We're going through withdrawals at my house. I had a few free minutes here at work so I thought I would pop in and post something on my little lonely blog.

I hope to share some of my creations soon! Have a great weekend friends :)

Where Oh Where has the Time Gone???????

I haven't blogged in two months! Time just seems to be flying by lately. I've started several projects. I have a few that I will share with you tonight. A few layouts and a Wizard of Oz themed blanket that I made for my niece's third birthday.

I feel lonely since this is a somewhat new blog with no followers. If you like what you see, follow me and leave a comment with the link to your blog. I love to read all different types of crafty blogs.

Back to work, will be back later tonight to post my projects!

I've been a scrapping and adding to my etsy shop

I feel so productive today. I finally got around to taking pictures of the blankie I made for my sister in law which I am also putting in my etsy shop because I love it sooo much.

I woke up this morning and wanted to scrap. I've had my supplies sitting in a corner on one of the kitchen counters just in case the urge came along....so I scrapped two pages this morning! The first page "Small Guy, Big Smiles" is using the January Simply Obsessed kit. I love my SO kits. Great price, great kits! They are the perfect size for me. Just enough to not be overwhelming. The letters that came in the kit were cream but i used my cat's eye chalk in in chestnut roan to ink them up a big.

And this is a picture from my wedding which went great with these papers from the February Simply Obsessed kit.

Well my boy just fell asleep so it's laundry, shower, cleaning time. Hope everyone's having a great weekend :)
